hi,

I am new here and and after using AVRO, i am really amazed. Thanks n kudos to your excellent work.
Now, I want to use your Avro in different way and I'll need your suggestion in this regard. Would appreciate if you expert people plz help me out and excuse me if I am asking a silly question. smile.gif

I am planning for a bengali portal where-in I would allow users to write and chat in bengali font. Now, as far as I saw -- to make use of Avro keyborad utility, the person must need to install Avro utility in his system. Now, it becomes difficult for the persons -- who are using systems in cyber cafe or does not have own system and also installing and configuring the systems is not very much fascinating for layman users.

SO, I would like to deploy a feature in my webpage -- which dynamically maps english type to bengali using applet kind of stuff or anything else.

So, for these types of web applications, how can I go about? Is there any way? Plz advice.

If it is a paid service, I am ready to make a deal.

Thanks a ton in advance for your kind replies despite huge work pressure.

Bhalo thakben.

Avro Keyboard is a Win32 application. There is no way to use it without installing (so far). The best way for you is to use Javascript based solution.

You can find one (open source) from here: http://bnwebtools.sourceforge.net/

They have also implemented an Avro Phonetic like typing system, although it is still incomplete.

Hope it helps.

Thnks a lot for your valuable suggestion n advice.

If you have good time, can I ask you to provide a bit detail on the Java Script based solution approach.

Thnks once again
