Is it possible to set both the font information and the locale information to bengali through future version of AvroKeyboard?

There is a similar product - Alpona keyboard that does the same.

In that case we don't have to change the font of the icons in the desktop to rename them to bengali. It is very use full.

though it is not freeware but one can try it for free for 60 days. Its realy a very good product.

Well, we are going to add the feature of setting locale information to bengali at the next version of Avro Keyboard.

I think setting the font information can only be possible in "Clipboard Mode" typing and only for RTF texts. Only MS Word can be a good field to apply this method. Would you please explain that why you need this? It might be more harassing to select a font outside of the editor.

Firstly, Alpona Professional does NOT support UNICODE standard, it uses private encoding and behaviours of it are like ASCII systems.

Secondly, Microsoft Windows Xp's service pack 3 is coming very soon with Full Support for Bangla . You are going to get just what you need...

Yes, Alpona is not Unicode standard application.. You can't display those texts in other Unicode fonts. Don't be misguided by there nice ads on computer magazines or some articles. I am a sufferer.
