This is not really a bug report but rather a compatibility (?software) problem with MS Keyboard.
I recently purchased a MS Wireless Optical Desktop Keyboard and mouse (MS Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0 and MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0), but unfortunately most of the the additional function keys did not work after installation. I was about to return the product thinking it was defective when sudenly it occurred to me that it could be due to conflicts. After several tries and misses I found that Avro 3.1 seemed to be incompatible. Once Avro is closed and exited all keys start to function normally.
I downloaded and installed the latest IntelliType software and drivers from the MS website but the problem remains. Strangely, my previous Samsung PS2 keyboard which had additional function keys too did not cause any problems with Avro and it cost 1/10th of the current one! Now, I have had to enable the option so that Avro doesn't start with Windows and I have to start Avro everytime I want to use it and the function keys become disabled.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Sumit
