Full Version: Bug in Avro 3.0

Sumit
Hello,

I have just installed Avro 3.0 over Avro 2.2 and it has given me no problems except one so far. No problems with installation either.
Kudos to Mehdi Hasan for making such a wonderful software for us Bangla users, and that too for free.
The new features like Phonetic typing, Click 'n type and inclusion of more keyboards are certainly welcome.
The only bug I have noticed in the past 24 hours after downloading is that the key 7 doesn't seem to work while in Phonetic type. The character comes out as = and shift+7 comes out as +. However, the problem isn't reproduced when using the digit 7 in the Number keypad in the Phonetic keyboard. Neither does it happen in any of the other keyboard layouts except Phonetic.

Thanks

Thanks a lot, I'm going to check it...

Well, this is announced as a official bug for Avro Keyboard 3.0.0.
Thanks to Sumit for helping us.

In the next release users will get a fix of the bug. Until then, use NumPad 7 to type in Avro Phonetic.

Thanks a lot for your patience and co-operation.
Sumit
Thanks Mehdi for your response.
I shall surely be waiting for the next release.
Till then carry on the good work.

It is coming within 20th February, I hope... smile.gif

Great news! Where do you find the time? ohmy.gif

Another two bugs we have found yet:

1. Avro Keyboard doesn't save the last keyboard layout info when windows shuts down or restrarts. It works fine if the user close Avro Keyboard manually...

2. The installer don't actually turn off input locale changing if no locale is selected.

The above two bugs are already fixed and we will release the fixes with new 3.1.0 version of Avro Keyboard.
