Hi,

I have installed Oracle Developer 9i with OC4J Beans. It runs over J2EE and has charactersets coming from all over the world.

the list of character sets is huge. I have tries almost all of them but could not type Bangla using Avro Interface in the Applet (Neither in the Developer Prompt / Label Object). Also note that the most matching characterset in Oracle might be UTF8 or UTF16.

If you have any idea for a work around, please let me know.

my email is ikram@cnsbd.com

I will regularly check this form for any updates you might provide.

Thanks and Regards,

Ikram Iqbal

I've not tried with Oracle Developer 9i, so I cannot say exactly what is happening there.

A suggestion: Type Bangla in "Through Clipboard" mode, it might solve the problem, and please let us know if it does so.
