Can you please provide a layout editor/creator/loader for the next version of the Avro Keyboard. This will help the users to create and use layouts which will be simple for him/her.

Next version of Avro Keyboard will be plug-in based. Thus people can download new layout files and install them in the current directory of Avro Keyboard,which will relieve everyone from downloading the whole setup package again and again.

However, we'll also open the source code of the keyboard layout section only, so that other developers can create new keyboard layouts for Avro. Sorry that we currently have no plan to release a layout editor for general users.

Any one can create a layout and distribute as a plug-in.

Opening the source code of the keyboard layout section is a great idea indeed!

By incorporating some flawed layout in your installation, you are encouraging users to get adopted to Bijoy. I strongly suggest incorporating other better layouts (Like Munir) in Avro. Why should Avro promote a flawed layout when we can promote our fisrt and by far the best keyboard layout (Munir). I don't think people will mind throwing bijoy away as far as possible even if they have to do some hard work getting used to Munir or any other layout.

Thanks, We want to add Munir Layout. But, to apply it in Computer, we have to modify some of it. If you are a munir user; plz help us to make munir better for computer.

e.g. - half charectars, Shunno (in Ra, Ba + Shunno = Ra)

Just as you makie some change in Bijoy to make it UniBijoy, you can make a UniMunir. I am sure you guys have the talent to make it both usable and modern.

Better if we create a separate topic to discuss about Unimonir...and this time we should engage our users to make the final layout...

Thus It'll be the best and usefull Bangla layout...
