Dear Friends,

We run Charcha - a Bangla Webzine (www.charchaonubad.org). We use Avro Keyboad for creating the Webzine in MS Word.

However when we publish our Webzine in PDF format most of our readers complain that they cannot read the Webzine (since certain fonts are not installed on their system).

We need your help regarding this.

Please let us know a process where in we create the Webzine in MS Word and convert into PDF, the readers must be able to read even if the font is not installed on their system. I have seen this is possible with other webzines.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Soumya Shankar Ghosal

Embed all the font you are using with the pdf and tell your visitors that they must use at least version 5 of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This should work.

It depends on the pdf conversion utility you are using. A good utility can analyze document and embed the used font automatically. If it is not your case, try finding the font embedding option and embed the Bangla fonts you have used manually.
