Assalaamu 'alaykum. I need some urgent help with printing. For some reason my documents in word doesn't display any links between the letters, but when printing the link marks show up behind the letters. Can someone please help me, thank you.

the links between the letters in tumi for example 'তুমি' is how it is displayed on my documents, but when i print its different. it comes out showing the joints between ত+ু, ম+ি, see the dots forming a circle? plz help asap.

Your Office version and Windows version please.

Office 2007, Windows vista. The first time I printed everything was fine. I also downloaded a Bangla Quran. The Bengali text was fine at first, but when I shut down my computer and logged back on the Bengali text was replaced with some mumbo jumbo. The English and Arabic was fine, no problem whatsoever.

Is this problem happening to particularly for this document or other Bangla documents also?

Try to change bangla fonts like, Solaimanlipi or siyum rupali and try again.

I am not certain but this can be happened for the Arabic text in this document. If you look carefully, your font is showing Traditional Arabic and the Bangla text is showing in "Vrinda" which is system (Windows) default for Bangla. Another font named "Arial Unicode" is default for MS Office, which has particularly this kind of ত+ু, ম+ি problem. I guess these are conflicting and causing the mess.

Try it with different font.

I had the same problem with other Bengali documents, I don't believe the Arabic text was an issue in this case. I tried Siyam Rupali anyway without any success. Alhamdulillaah (শমস্ত প্রশংশা আল্লাহর), SulaymanLipi did the job for me. It might be due to the printer driver. I use Arial Unicode MS. No problem at all.

I've got a feeling it's the printer driver. Any idea how I can get this problem fixed, it's bothering me alot.
