Its a pleasure to use such a unique creation. The software is immensely easy to use and has lots of visual helps, which was lacking in the past.



Unfortunately I am not able to type joined-words or Juktakkhors (even using the link key). I mostly use the mouse click version for typing in bengali font. However the software is not working for such alphabets. There are no effctes of the "Hosonto" key between two other clicks.



For example, there are few switches using which some critical joined-alphabets would be types in the screen. In this case its not working. No Juktakhhor is typed when i am using the keys, only the simple alphabets are coming in the screen.



Please help me regarding this topic which is otherwise restricting me to use such a gem of a software.

Welcome to the forum!

Don't panic, most of the users face this problem because they miss two important point:

Font: You must use an appropriate open type Bangla font. Here is a list of available Bangla fonts you can use. There are few other fonts are available too, in different corners of the web. But if you use a geeric Unicode font like Arial Unicode MS, Juktakkhors will not work.

Bangla language support in Windows: You must install Bangla script support in Windows so that open type fonts can work. Download and use Icomplex to install Bangla support in Windows.
(Note: If you are using latest version of Avro Keyboard, IComplex is already installed. You don't have to download it. Go to C:\Program Files\Avro Keyboard\iComplex and run IComplex.exe. Then click on the Install complex script button and restart your computer)
