1. We need option to close the tooltip window.
2. Right now this window only shows which character i have pressed so far. it would be nice if i know the possible outputs when i press the next character.
say i have typed 'k' now if i type 'r' it gives me 'k + Ro fola'
If i knew what is the possible outcome for some most used character that would help a person typing very easy. right now what avro users doing is either looking at the help file or figuring out the actual keys by trial and error. No offense but you should not force users to memorize all the key maps. What is the use of this tooltip? instead of just showing the key presses if you show a dynamic help, i think that would be amazing.

It is present. Go to Settings>Avro Phonetic, then you will find a check box for Show/Hide preview window.
However, a close button in the preview window itself will be more amazing, and it is planned for the next release. Thanks for the reminder.

I am also thinking about its necessity and started working on it. Instead of showing all possible combinations of characters, we may provide a dictionary hint which will be more helpful. As our dictionary is not yet 100% ready (currently 2,50,000 words in it, need to review each entry manually, too much time killer
), next version may not come too soon.Thanks for you great ideas and thoughts to make Avro Keyboard even more feature rich

Anyway dont rush with releasing new versions. Take the time. But make sure you release it with some enhance feature. Dont just give a new version only with bug fixes.

Sometimes we have to release only bug fixed version (i.e. 4.5.0 and 4.5.1) to complete the road map. Say, we need more time to release version 5, but it is not good that users will continue downloading releases with known low to medium grade bugs (i.e. 4.1.0). Thats why these versions are released.
Usually bunches of new features come when major version number increases, rest are mainly bug fixes those generally arrive for these new features.
