The following books have been published in boi-mela 2008: 1. Juner Angti 2. Abir abong Jangla Bhai Abir abong jongla bhai was first published in Kolkata in december 2006. It has been republished by Jagriti prokashoni at ekushey boi-mela this year. Juner Angti is the latest novel by Muntakim Mannan Choudhury, which is part 1 of Parthacus Trilogy, published by Ananya Prokashoni. The second part, 'Jadur Aina' is forthcoming in boi-mela 2009.
